One of my clients called the other day to urgently order a top-up of fabric. In his words, “…if only they would fix the date of Christmas so clients could more easily plan for it. Changing the date every year just means they have to rush through jobs at the last minute.”
It feels like that, doesn’t it? It sneaks up on you, then WHAM, Christmas.
Much like most of the world, the team at Coritex are going to be taking a much needed break to spend time with family, capture a little vitamin D (not too much, because we are Sun Smart), eat our body-weight in plum pudding and vanilla custard (custard optional) and re-charge.
We are shutting the office and the warehouses for the Festive Season. And while I know your clients can be unpredictable at times, the sooner we know you need something, the better. I know next week is going to be busy for the team, rushing out needed and “just in case” fabric and paper.
If there are any predicted or potential needs, please do reach out as early as you can next week, as Friday 20 December will be out last day to get product out to you. We’d hate for you to not be able to get a job out because you are missing a few meters of something.
We’ve made the decision to close the office and the warehouses for the following:
Last deliveries: Friday 20 December
Resume deliveries: Monday 6 January 2025
As per usual, we will be monitoring emails, especially orders@coritex.com.au during the break, but we will have limited opportunity to act on any requests.
If you miss next week’s email, I want to take the opportunity to say thank you to all of you. Also to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Regards,
DANIEL WATTS
